PROJECT CONTROLS ENGINEER, AMOCO OIL COMPANY REFINERY PROJECTS for RAYTHEON ENGINEERS AND CONSTRUCTORS (December 1991 – July 1993) replacing STONE AND WEBSTER ENGINEERING CORPORATION (April 1991 – December 1991)
I worked on multiple projects in response to the government Air Act Regulation, which typically included modernization of existing facilities, tank farms, pumps, dikes, and piping to water treatment facilities, as well as construction of several new processing facilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED:
- Develop work breakdown and cost account structures
- Create and implementing construction schedules
- Integrate and track engineering, procurement, and construction schedules
- Work closely with estimating team to build, review and approve budgets
- Produce weekly progress curves and milestone schedules
- Update, analyze, and approve cost and performance reports
