FIELD ENGINEER (DECEMBER 1995-NOVEMBER 1999) for FLUOR

THE PROJECTS:

-       New 300 FPM wallboard manufacturing facility (900,000 sq. ft.) for US Gypsum, including roads and railroad tracks

-       Three power projects for NIPSCO Primary Energy Inc. (three Steam Turbine Generator facilities, including thousands of HP steel piles and thousands of yards of concrete, steam turbine generators, cooling towers, pump houses, control and maintenance facilities, finishing, and a 300-ft tall concrete stack on the last project)

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED:

-       Direct and control engineering functions

-       Insure conformance to code and specification requirements

-       Make adaptations and modifications to design as needed

-       Procure materials for various disciplines

-       Write scope of work and providing engineering support for various subcontracts

-       Quality control and compatibility with project definition and scope of work

-       Prepare requisitions for procurement of services, materials, and equipment

-       Provide technical support and interpretation of code and specification requirements

-       Assist in supervision of civil crafts where needed

-       Administrate various subcontracts through completion

-       Supervise discipline construction activities
