PROJECT MANAGER (JULY 2004-JUNE 2006) for FLUOR ARABIA (JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA)
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED:
- Oversee the full engineering and construction teams of approximately seventy people, running overall operations for multiple simultaneous projects
- Ensure for the client successful delivery of design, engineering, constructability, schedule, budget, specs, quality, and safety for all projects
- Work with the client on overall budgeting and scheduling of the program, including coordination with existing campus
- Authorize payments to contractors

SENIOR CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER, SCE (APRIL 2000-JUNE 2004) FOR FLUOR ARABIA
I worked as SCE on the King Abdul Aziz University project for four years, until I was promoted to the position of the Project Manager.
SCE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED:
- Member of the team that evaluated bids and selected successful bidder
- Oversee adherence to project specs, quality, schedule, budget, and safety for assigned projects
- Review and approve billing, including change orders
- Member of team conducting handover to University
PROJECTS INCLUDED:
- Women’s college of science
- Infrastructure project, including installation of chilled water piping network in preparation for the building of a new central chilled water station
- Comprehensive infrastructure development, including all basic underground utilities, cables, parking lots, miles of streets and sidewalks, sports facilities, and other amenities over a 600,000 sq. meter area
- Central utility building
- Two storm-water pumping stations with piping
